Key People
With many years of combined knowledge and experience
in the data networking and imaging industries, Cinemage’s
management team understands the technology trends and market
dynamics that are driving the emerging demand for solutions
that distribute digitized content within business, institutional
and consumer networks. The team is focused on enacting the
Company’s vision of creating customers worldwide for
Cinemage’s technology, Prints-On-Demand services and
digitized art reproductions.
Edgar
Froese - CEO
Edgar Froese has 35 years of experience in the software industry.
He was a founding staff member of the UBC Computing Centre,
which for many years was the leading site for software development
and innovation in British Columbia with collaborative relationships
with similar centres of expertise in leading Western universities.
Mr. Froese founded Advanced Cultural Technologies Inc. in
1992 to undertake systems planning and development in advanced
networking and multimedia computing.
Mr. Froese provides technical architectural direction
for the company, as well as corporate planning, and market
sector direction and specification. He also acts as Promoter
for Media West Technology (VCC) Corp. and the Cinemage Software
Limited Partnership.
Jon
Nightingale I.S.P. -
Manager, Product Evolution
Mr. Nightingale has over 25 years of experience in software
product support. As a technical writer, Mr. Nightingale
has produced and edited a variety of software product
descriptive materials. Prior to joining ACT Mr. Nightingale
worked for 20 years for the University of British Columbia
and was Manager of Administration for Computing and Communications
at the time of his departure. Mr. Nightingale has been
closely involved in the development of the Cinemage system,
and is familiar with the product, its intended markets,
and pilot customers. He will play a key role in the preparation
of product sales literature as well as product support
materials and services. |
John
Campbell
Senior Systems Developer
John Campbell has 35 years of experience of software systems
development. Mr. Campbell spent much of that time at the
University of British Columbia, first in the Computing
Centre and thereafter in the Systems Division of the Library.
Mr. Campbell co-authored the software that for over 20
years ran the Library's cataloguing and administrative
services. He has extensive knowledge of computer operating
systems, database systems and structures, networking systems
and protocols, software languages and the efficient implementation
of code, information systems applications, and numerous
methodologies for dealing with data forms and formats
and their manipulation in computer based systems. |
